Nature's confessional

When you're out on a photography trip, I consider sunrise the most important element of a successful day.

One of the most beautiful things anyone can experience is the start of a new day. You can completely forget everything that has happened prior to now ... sort of like nature's confessional.

It also marks your first opportunity to get a great shot. The immense power of feeling like you nailed a shot right at the start of the day can fill you with hope and imagination until sunset.

You also don't have that pang of guilt I feel everytime I don't manage to crawl out of bed in the morning. Then again, there's always tomorrow to start all over again ...
