You have amazing pictures! Can I ask what kind of camera you use? Digital or SLR and how do you process the pictures? The vivid colors, depth of field and all that is just perfect.

It's a Nikon D3 (digital full frame)
For the lens I think it was a 16-26mm (but I haven't looked in my camera bag since getting home.
The great purplish color (my favourite aspact) came from the sunset reflection on the sand which blended the deep blue of a long exposure (30 seconds) that still exists in the sky just after sunset.
Other than that I did regular levels, curves, some dodging on the rocks to bring out the shine of the water reflections and a bit of saturation. Fairly standard.
